I'm still not really sure how to make these leopard jeans work
Does that make me a bad influencer?
One of the problems with posting online is that you often feel you aren’t allowed to make mistakes. A few years ago I felt tremendous guilt because our beautiful iron frame bed (the one I’d showed off on Instagram so many times!) did not fit our lifestyle once we had kids, I sold it on and replaced it with a more practical, less idyllic Instagram worthy version. I didn’t show the new bed for ages because I worried I’d sold a lie to people. But it wasn’t really a ‘lie’, I really liked that unpractical bed, I still pine after that bed but now that my kids can climb easily into our boring bed (with a comfy headboard), I know that changing it was the right decision.
Step forward another impractical purchase: the Damson Madder leopard cargo jeans. I have many leopard items, all of them being my most worn items in my wardrobe - and I liked that the cargo style was different to everything else in my wardrobe. At first try, I didn’t love them - the length meant they only looked good with heels and I didn’t want to have to dress them up. But I convinced myself to keep them because they were unlike anything I owned and had potential. Yet every time I wear them I am not 100% sure on how to style them.
