We are in for no less than ten glorious days of sunshine in my part of the world this week (miraculously coinciding with half term!) and I am so ready for it. We will be pottering this weekend catching up on garden progress which brings me to these beautiful planters via Habitat (we have very similar bought from Rowen & Wren a few years ago - at a significantly higher price - and they are still my favourite pots):

1. Scalloped pot

28.5cm scalloped pot (with drainage holes!): £30, Habitat*

You can just about see ours in the background here!

I remember Alice Vincent discussing pots being one of the biggest investments in a garden so I am always on the lookout (esp on secondhand markets), we inherited some giant ones in our last garden but some were sadly too heavy to move with and others were damaged in transit.

Comparing this to our current garden devoid of greenery…I know it’ll take time!

2. Elasticated trousers

Now I’ve discovered elasticated waist trousers are not only comfortable but also look quite good on me, it’s practically the only style of trouser I look for.

‘Emile’ cardigan: Sezane* (3 years old). Parachute pants: Le Bon Shoppe via Mama Owl (code STOCKTAKE26 gets you 20% off). ‘Valentin’ flats: Sezane*

These are Le Bon Shoppe ‘Parachute’ pants, they’re an exaggerated wide leg in lightweight cotton. I have become familiar with my size in Le Bon Shoppe (L) which has in turn made it easier to try new styles BUT…..whilst researching I stumbled upon these from TU at Sainsbury’s: 100% cotton for £20.
